The mission of USAtogether is to help the men and women of the US Military, current and former, who suffer life-altering injuries from the Iraq, Afghanistan and previous conflicts, get the basics they need during recovery.  This is done by operating a web site which allows injured service members and potential contributors to easily establish one-to-one connections wherever they are. Qualified injured service members and their families can publish their needs for specific goods, financial assistance and services in a “Craig’s List” like format.  Potential contributors select the needs they want to address, and if their offer is accepted, go make it happen.   Contributors, which can be individuals, community groups or businesses can also get notified of new needs consistent with their area of interest.
